Everywhere we look, we see purpose. Whether we look at nature, things on our desk at work, sitting around our home, or even in the mirror, the things and people we see exist on purpose for a purpose.
However, in creation, when God created mankind, He created us with a greater purpose than He did the birds, trees, or fish in the sea. Genesis 1:26 says, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
We were created in the image and likeness of God. He has even given us His creative nature to solve issues, build things, love, and show compassion to others. As we explore the scriptures, we will see many Bible verses about purpose.

What Does It Mean to Live With Purpose?
To live life with purpose, we have to live life on purpose. It is a deliberate act to live with the mindset that you are here to accomplish something. A specific thing. However, if you don’t have direction in your life, you will always live with the feeling that something is missing. In addition, you will always lack a sense of belonging and face inner turmoil.
Our purpose is always for something greater than ourselves. Look at nature; apple trees don't eat their own apples. However, they provide food, shade, and shelter for others (animals and people). To live with purpose, we must look to see what gifts, talents, and abilities God has given to us that can benefit others in our home, community, region, or even the world.
To live with purpose, you must be willing to:
What Does the Bible Say About Living Life with Purpose?
Acts 16:31 says, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—”This is the first step to getting on the right path to purpose.
If you bought a car and it broke down, giving you lots of trouble, you would take it to the dealership to get it looked at. The dealer knows how the automobile was made and has the know-how and expertise to troubleshoot and fix the problem.
God is our heavenly manufacturer to help us find our purpose when life feels empty or lacking. No matter the issue, Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
God created us for a purpose, so when we lack the information needed to find that purpose on our own, we can acknowledge Him. Then, he will give us directions to get us on the right track. In fact, as we continually trust Him in all areas of life, He will continue leading and guiding us like a GPS on the highway.
