As someone who does not conform or really concern myself with following rules, I march to the beat of my own drummer. As a matter of fact, I'd even say I write the beat and play the drum myself.
If you've ever felt this way, you can imagine my excitement at finding there are others who share my individualistic, creative, and reserved nature. They call us ISFPs. And, in this post, I'll define the personality type ISFP and list some ISFP famous people we share the planet with.

- Final Thoughts on ISFP Famous People
What's an ISFP?
ISFP is one of the 16 Myers-Briggs personality types. It's the artist personality. The letters stand for introverted, sensing, feeling, and perceiving.
ISFP's don't feel the need to be like others, and are very creative, free-spirited, and visual. They are independent, have a hands-on approach to learning and life… and can be very competitive.
ISFPs accept people for who they are. They are thoughtful, easy-going, friendly, loyal, and charismatic… making them great confidantes. Since they're also introverts, they tend to be quiet and reserved, have a small circle of a few close friends and need time alone to recharge after social events.
They're sensitive and kind. ISFPs are in touch with their feelings and have an appreciation for nature. They enjoy working with animals and being outside. Of course, they prefer jobs where they have autonomy or freedom, and can work independently.
Because of their focus on the present, they're drawn to careers where they can address real-world issues. They want work that involves doing something they believe in.
Some of the most popular careers for this personality type are:
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
You're probably familiar with the Myers-Briggs Indicator. Chances are you’ve completed this questionnaire for school or a potential job, but if not… never fear! It’s not too late. The test is a series of questions that help you identify your personality type. It highlights your strengths and preferences.
The Myers-Briggs uses four different scales:
It's not really a versus thing, though. It's more like a range or spectrum. People tend to follow personality patterns that are more closely related to one of the two in the pair, than the other. The 16 different personality types are derived from combining these basic tendencies in different combinations.
The point of the test is not to suggest one personality type is better than another. It's to help you really understand who you are, how you process information, and how you interact with the world.
Are you an INFJ, ISFP, or one of the other personality types? Curious to see what makes you tick, or why you tick like you do? Then take the test! You might gain some insight into why you do the things you do.
If you're an ISFP like me, you'll be proud to join the ranks of the talented and successful celebrities and prominent people who share this typology.
If you're not an ISFP, but want to feel the freedom of always being your authentic self no matter what, look to an ISFP as a role model. Engage with those people who personally impact your life, or simply tell yourself you’re in some pretty good company with this list of ISFP famous people.
